My History

I began massage training in beautiful Lake Tahoe California in 1999. With over 14 years of experience, training, and education, I still strive to learn more about healing touch and the effects it can have on the body.
I enjoy the variety of working with everyone from top athletes, to severely mentally and physically handicapped, to cancer patients, and anyone else who needs help to relax, increase their range of motion, improve circulation, loosen up tight muscles, move energy blockages, or receive lymphatic drainage or scar tissue release.
I also provide palliative care for those at the end of life. I have experience volunteering with hospice, and find a great sense of purpose in this area of care.

I can discover what your body needs and get the job done through listening to your history verbally, and thorough written client intake information. With a warm and caring demeanor, I will use my skills and tools at hand to achieve the desired goals of the therapy session. It may take a series of sessions to get to where you need to be, but we will get there together. If I believe you may benefit from a different type of therapy such as acupuncture etc. I will not hesitate to refer you out to try a complementary type of care. I became interested in massage as a hobby, but after being told continuously how gifted my hands are, I decided to follow my “path” full time. In my opinion, it’s all about quality of life, and if you feel good physically, it takes the edge off of everything else in life. If I can help someone feel better, even just for a while, then it is my duty and my pleasure to do so.
I very much look forward to working together with you to get you closer to your healthy goals.
